ohdear.

i'm an expert

at procrastinating...

high park blossoms

here's one of the shots

from yesterday's trip

to high park.

it's so much more fun shooting

now that spring has arrived

and the flowers are out...!

green day

haven't posted

in ages!

taking the week off

to rest, clean, and

head to high park

to take some shots

of the cherry blossoms,

if they're still up.

i can't wait until

everything is this green.

so excited!

i'm free...!

today was my last day.

new things!

a special thankyou

to this lovely lady

for an amazing gift

that arrived this week!

i've always been blown away

by helen's work...

and i'm so excited to have a copy

of my very own.

-----------

in other news,

i have given my notice at my workplace,

and will be starting a solo

career in photography,

as well as opening a tiny

etsy shop.

i'll post links once i'm up + running!

dear 600, i miss you.

the thing i really miss

is how painterly

the shadows

became,

how the light bent itself

and became softer,

and yet so vibrant

and defined.

tulip diptych

just took a big step

towards doing

my own thing.

scary

 and so, so exciting...
