this weekend.


this weekend
was one of the toughest
weekends i've ever had
in all my life.

it tested me in ways
i'd never been tested before,
and i'm just so glad
it's over.

things that helped:
seeing the avengers in 3D, 
having belate-o de mayo fish tacos
(we had them on the 6th!),
and delicious cupcakes
from this place.

    sorry to hear about your crappy weekend. we saw the five year engagement yesterday and the line for avengers was INSANE.

      ohman, our avengers 3D line was so nuts it was split in two, an HOUR before the movie started. luckily we were a bit early, so we got a good seat together, but my eyes popped out a bit when we saw how many people were there (on a sunday night!) to see the movie. how was the five year engagement, btw? i'm beginning to develop a thing for jason segel...he's just so sweet!

      maggie! you should come over + enjoy their vegan cupcakes, which are some of the hands-down best cupcakes i've ever TASTED. (and while we're at it, let's taste-test dlish's cupcakes too. oh, and some brownies.)

      thanks jo! i'm on-and-off with the moods, but mostly i'm ok. i'll totally email if i need a vent though! :)

      and yep, avengers was pretty freaking awesome. SO MANY GOOD LINES. i nearly peed myself, sometimes. i might have to see it a second time (uh, not necessarily in 3D, cos woah expensive) to really get the lines down pat, because i will clearly be quoting this movie. heh.
