  1. Thanks for your comment on my blog! I see you live in Toronto? I used to live there (although I'm English) and my husband is Canadian. So you can add that to the list of things in common too! I miss toronto so much...is that where you're from? But...what's your name?! :)

  2. hey jo! you're welcome! :) my real-person name is lindsay, but i hate spreading it around the internet so i just go by my handle usually. one of these days when i feel confident about myself i'll make my real self meet my internet self!

also, yes - i am currently in toronto! that is so crazy you used to live here too...we must totally be twins, haha! i'm actually from ottawa, which is the capital, but i moved here to live with my boyfriend. whereabouts in toronto did you live? we're in the st.clair/dufferin area, but are shortly moving to the dundas west/dufferin area, and are so excited! :)

  3. Ah, cool. I moved there after university for something fun to do and showed up never having even been to Canada before so took the first place I saw! So I lived at Yonge & Wellesley for a year and my boyfriend (now husband) lived along Front Street. Ah I miss Toronto so much, hoping to go back next summer for a visit - my husband's family are all still there & we have a few friends kicking about too! Good luck with the move! Keep us posted!
PS I am kind of the same with putting out my real self on the internet - struggling with it but I have a new philosophy that I don't care what people think (just have to keep telling myself!). :)

  4. oh - yonge+wellesley is a great area...lucky you! we're pretty far out right now, and looking forward to moving somewhere that isn't so remote. thankyou for the well-wishes on the move! i'm pretty sure we'll need it...i have a lot of stuff, haha.

i'm glad i'm not the only one worrying about the real-life/internet-life concerns, too - i keep trying to not g.a.s (not give a shit, ha), but it's tough. i feel sometimes like the unpopular kid, trying to make friends! but i guess you just have to do what you do, and just hope the right people appreciate it. (possibly monetarily. HEH.)

i will for sure keep you posted on how everything goes! same goes for you - if you make it here, it'd be neat to meet up! :)
